West Philadelphia Roots. Global Reach.

Experience turned into mentorship.

Born in West Philadelphia, Ben “BoxWon” Barnes has built an international reputation as a world-class breaker, educator, and producer. Since 2009, he has represented on the global breaking circuit, earning championships and respect as a former member of the World Champion Monster Energy Breakers.

Through Bred2Burn, BoxWon has carried his philosophy across the world—from Japan and Spain to France, Germany, Canada, and beyond—while connecting Hip Hop to schools, universities, national media, global sport, and leadership development.

That experience now comes back to the student. As an Elite Athlete Representative for the U.S. and an Olympic-era Breaking leader, BoxWon uses the academy to help young people build movement skills, confidence, discipline, cultural responsibility, and the readiness to keep growing.
